Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, stated that the Brussels summit underscores growing international trust in Egypt’s economic reform agenda. Speaking in the aftermath of the high-level meeting with European Union leaders, she emphasized that the engagement reflects recognition of Cairo’s commitment to macroeconomic stabilization and inclusive growth.
Al-Mashat noted that the discussions highlighted Egypt’s progress in implementing structural reforms, improving business conditions, and advancing sustainable development goals. She added that international partners see Egypt as a stable investment destination amid regional uncertainties.
She further explained that the summit created avenues for deeper financial and technical cooperation, particularly in green infrastructure, digital economy initiatives, and workforce development. Such collaboration, she said, will support domestic productivity and integration into global value chains.
