The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta joined forces with educators from the Atlanta Chinese School and members of FASCA to take part in the Cobb County International Festival on August 23. The event featured two performances highlighting the traditional Third Prince dance, while the office operated a booth promoting Mandarin language programs, tourism in Taiwan, and the island’s involvement in the World Health Organization. Director General Lin personally engaged with attendees, sharing insights into Taiwan’s educational and cultural landscape. n nOrganizers labeled the booth as representing “Taiwan,” and interactive activities such as Chinese calligraphy name-writing, chopstick challenges, and photo opportunities with a costumed Third Prince character attracted large crowds, making it one of the most popular attractions of the day. n nCobb County Chairwoman Lisa Cupid awarded the delegation a certificate of appreciation and posed for photos with the group and the Third Prince mascot.
