1961 — The UN Security Council convened an emergency session regarding a complaint filed by Britain on behalf of Kuwait to address Iraqi allegations and claims against the country.
1997 — The inaugural edition of “Al-Dustour” weekly was released, serving as a parliamentary publication with Sheridah Al-Muousherji as Editor-in-Chief.
2000 — Kuwait and Saudi Arabia finalized the demarcation of their shared maritime borders, signing an agreement on the submerged area of the divided zone. 2020 — The Kuwaiti government decided to lift the full quarantine in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula areas effective July 9, while maintaining medical infrastructure in case of further spread of COVID-19.
