Toyota has confirmed that the all-electric version of its compact C-HR crossover will debut in the U.S. market next year. Previously available only in Europe, the C-HR will feature an estimated driving range of up to 290 miles with a 77 kWh battery. While the European variant boasts a longer range due to different testing standards, the U.S. version aligns with stricter EPA guidelines. The electric C-HR will deliver 338 horsepower and an estimated 0-60 mph time of five seconds. It will also include advanced features such as Plug and Charge capability, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 14-inch center touchscreen. Pricing details remain undisclosed but are expected to exceed $45,000, reflecting current battery costs.
